Course Overview

This course is a mandatory requirement for all candidates working on Overhead Line Electrification projects. The course provides candidates with a basic understanding of OLE Systems, enabling them to enter an Overhead Line construction site.

By the end of the course the can will have gained an understanding of documentation, design drawings, different typrs of infrasturcture and components. Candidates will also gain a basic understanding of Installation Methods and Techniques, an understanding of general safety on OLEC sites and a basic use of hand tools.

Course Award

On successful completion of the course the candidates sentinel card will be endorced with the OLEC 1 compentency.
